Life & Style magazine exclusively revealed that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting closer to marriage.

“This is a much more advanced relationship than Taylor and Travis would like to admit. They have considered themselves unofficially engaged for a while. They are both 100% committed to spending the rest of their lives together and starting a family,” the insider shared on August 14.

However, the condition for the male football player to get down on one knee and give his billionaire girlfriend a ring is to have a prenuptial agreement with strict terms. According to insiders, it is unlikely that Taylor will walk down the aisle without a clear agreement on prenuptial assets. The couple wants to settle things before Travis officially proposes to the beauty.

Currently, Taylor and her boyfriend of the same age cannot go further due to their busy work schedules. In addition, discussing the terms of the prenuptial agreement is also said to be complicated by the huge assets of both. Taylor is recognized by Forbes as a billionaire with a net worth of over 1 billion USD, largely thanks to his successful singing career. Compared to his girlfriend, Travis’s bank account balance is far behind but still significant compared to the average person, estimated at about 70 million USD.

Insiders emphasized that the prenuptial agreement did not take away the romance in love or the marriage plans of the couple born in 1989 because both of them clearly understood each other’s fair and careful personalities.

Previously, in December 2023, Page Six exclusively reported that Travis had asked his girlfriend’s father, Mr. Scott Swift, for permission to take their relationship further. Mr. Swift is known to be very supportive of the male player. In early July, a source close to Travis shared that the engagement would take place soon.

Singer Karma and the Kansas City Chiefs star have been dating for over a year. They made their relationship official in September 2023 when Taylor cheered on her boyfriend at an NFL game against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.

Right after confirming his feelings, Travis showed that he was really serious about Taylor by buying a $6 million villa to have private space with the beauty.

The two have been open about their feelings for each other. During the 2023-2024 NFL season, Taylor attended 13 Chiefs games, including the Super Bowl that helped Travis and his teammates win their third championship in February.

Travis also splashed out on flights around the world from South America, Asia to Europe to attend concerts as part of Taylor’s Eras Tour . He even took the stage with his girlfriend at a show in London in July.

Taylor and Travis are currently separated. Taylor is finishing up his European tour, while Travis is in training camp preparing for the 2024-2025 NFL season.

However, the Fortnight singer will be back in the US before the end of August, as her final London show ends on August 20. She will then be free in September to cheer Travis on at his first games.
