Pandas are considered China’s national treasure. Therefore, when facing the risk of extinction, they were extremely carefully cared for and preserved. Pandas are loved because their black and white fur color represents yin and yang harmony as well as because of their lovely round appearance, looking quite “gentle”. In recent years, these “national treasures” have been sent to other countries to show cultural friendship. Therefore, the number of fans of “black and white idols” is not small.
FuBao (Phuc Bao) was born in 2020, the first panda born in Korea. FuBao’s father is panda LeBao and mother is panda AiBao. FuBao’s parents are a pair of pandas brought to Korea as a symbol of friendship between the two countries. FuBao is currently living at Everland amusement park in Korea. She is sponsored by Samsung Group, so she is often called the “chaebol princess”.
FuBao is deeply loved by the staff at Everland, especially Mr. Kang and Mr. Song. The two grandfathers have taken care of FuBao since she was born, always preparing her with lots of food, a beautiful living space with a flower garden, and winter snow for her granddaughter to play. On his recent 3rd birthday, FuBao was also given a separate birthday cake.
FuBao is also famous as the “leopard princess” because of her mischievous personality when she destroyed AiBao’s mother’s flower garden, got angry when she spilled all the maple leaves, and refused to go back to her room, forcing her mother to use “strong measures”. ,… However, FuBao is still an extremely lovely and filial girl. During the time AiBao gave birth to the next pair of pandas, FuBao peeled bamboo shoots to send privately to his mother.
FuBao will be returned to China in 2024 when he turns 4 years old. Pandas are still an animal that needs to be preserved and need to be bred more, so when they are able to reproduce, FuBao will have to find his mate.
