Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is an annual wildlife photography competition. The fun moments and adorable actions of wild animals from all over the world are captured through the ‘magic’ angles of photographers.

The award was founded in 2015 by two British photographers, Tom Sullam and Paul Joynson-Hicks, to raise awareness about wildlife conservation.

Recently, the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards organizers announced 42 finalists, out of more than 7,000 entries from around the world.

Approximately 10% of all net proceeds from this year’s contest will be donated to Save Wild Orangutans, a charity dedicated to rescuing and protecting primates.

The top prize winner will be announced on October 22, 2021. The top prize is a wildlife photography trip to the Maasai Mara reserve in Kenya.

In 2020, the overall winner of the contest was photographer Mark Fitzpatrick’s photo of a sea turtle frolicking in the water.
