LeBron James’ sons Bronny and Bryce record themselves sneaking out to avoid his cooking on Taco Tuesday

Everybody knows how important Taco Tuesday is to Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James. Although his sons, Bryce and Bronny James, are dedicated to the tradition, there’s one problem. They don’t like their parents’ cooking, so they took matters into their own hands.

In a hilarious short film posted on Instagram, Bronny, 19, leads his younger brother Bryce, 17, on a secret mission to go find some tacos outside of the James residence.

“It’s Taco Tuesday. Just got back from school. Only thing on my mind is a taco,” says Bronny, laying out his master plan. “Mom got some leftovers in the fridge, but not this time.”

“If dad find out,” he says, underlining the danger of their mission. “He’s gonna kill us.”

Bryce and Bronny James risked the fury if their dad found out

It wasn’t the only high jinks played that day, as Bryce James went incognito to make a prank call on his mother, Savannah James, new podcast called “Everybody’s Crazy.”

The salivating stunt pulled by the James brothers was part of a partnership with Taco Bell, which may have signaled a change of fortune in Bronny James’ NIL situation.

After a difficult freshman season with USC and his decision to enter the transfer portal (and the 2024 NBA Draft), LeBron’s eldest son saw his NIL valuation plummet by an estimated $800,000.

Of course, the James family has plenty of money to go around. Bronny still commands over $4 million for his Name, Image and Likeness, while Bryce is getting in on the Taco Bell deal before leaving high school.

LeBron James will almost certainly add to his billionaire status this NBA offseason, when he has the choice to opt into a $54.1 million player option for the final year on his contract with the Lakers, or become a free agent and sign for a similar bag elsewhere.
