Previously, Taylor Swift’s three shows from October 8 to August 10 in Vienna (Austria) were forced to cancel because authorities discovered a terrorist plot targeting the Ernst Happel Stadium, where the event took place.

On August 9, Mr. Sadiq Khan (Mayor of London) shared with Sky News that the American singer’s performances will still take place at Wembley Stadium (UK) for 5 days, from August 15 to August 20, as previously scheduled.
Sadiq Khan denied the incident in Austria had affected Taylor Swift’s UK concert plans. “We have a lot of experience in managing these events. We learned a lot from the terrible attack at Manchester Arena,” he said.
In 2017, a tragedy at a concert by singer Ariana Grande left 23 people, including the attacker, dead.
“I am sure Vienna has its own reasons for cancelling the Taylor Swift concert. We will continue to organise, work closely with the police and ensure that the Taylor Swift concert can take place in London safely,” Mr. Sadiq emphasized.
As of now, Taylor Swift has not made any official statement about the decision to cancel 3 shows in Austria. However, according to a source close to the singer, the singer is really sad and shocked by the incident. Currently, her emotional support is her boyfriend.
“All Travis can do right now is listen and support Taylor because he knows she and her team have handled things to the best of their ability. He’s spending as much time with her as he can,” the source revealed.
