Fans gathering outside concert venues to “watch” has become part of the American star’s world tour The Eras Tour .
However, security was tightened after a terrorist plot was discovered involving Taylor Swift’s performances in Vienna, Austria.
UK tour organisers said that to ensure safe access for everyone in the stadium, people without tickets will not be allowed to stand outside the entrances or gather on the steps at the front of the stadium.
In addition, overnight camping outside stadiums in London will also be banned.
Taylor Swift is scheduled to perform five nights at Wembley Stadium, starting on August 15, before concluding her tour in Europe. Previously, the American singer held three concerts at the same stadium last June.
In this 5-night tour, in addition to main support artist Paramore, each concert night will feature mainly British singers performing with Taylor Swift, including Holly Humberstone, Suki Waterhouse, Maisie Peters, Raye, and American violinist Sofia Isella.
After the UK tour, Taylor Swift will take a month off before returning for the final leg of the North American leg and ending The Eras Tour in Vancouver, Canada on December 8.
The Eras Tour is the sixth concert tour by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift. The tour began on March 17, 2023 in Glendale, Arizona, United States, and included 149 shows across five continents.
The Eras Tour is estimated to gross around $2 billion, double the previous record set by British singer Elton John with his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour, which ended in July 2023, grossing $939 million.
